“France, the first homeland of water” babies”, Webinar Acquarella with Daniel Zylberberg

Acquarella organizes a series of seminars with International teachers on the different approaches to Water Babies activities in the different countries of the world. This Saturday 9 May 2020 at 3pm (Italian Time) we will host Daniel Zylberberg from Paris who will tell us about the birth of the Water Babies movement in France since the 70s and of which he was one of the founder; this powerful educational / sports push later influenced the development of our activity in Europe and worldwide. Furthermore, we will approach the theoretical and practical development of this address which, in some way, has marked our business as we know it today.
Daniel has a degree in Psychology. He worked for more than 40 years in children’s neuropsychiatry departments. For a long time, he has been general secretary of FAAEL, the main French Water Babies Federation; he favors the multiplication of centers “Baby swimmers” in France. He has made presentations in the USA, China, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Austria and Italy. In 2010 he received the Virgina Newman Hunt Award, the highest honor that WABC (World Congress for Children’s Water Activities, North American institution) recognizes every year to the main teachers of our sector.
He wrote several articles and books: “The babies in swimming pool” “Me, my parents and the water” as well as a group work in Italy: “The Age of Swimming” edited by “Italian Union of Sport for All”
Today Daniel works as a consultant to the French Swimming Federation

The Webinar will be held in English with consecutive translation into Italian.
